Dr. Ed Moore is a political historian, state, national and international policy expert, author and political commentator.
Ed is often called upon by the news media, as well as companies, educational institutions and non-profits to discuss leadership, and provide historical context for current day events.
He has consulted with the British Embassy, the U.S. Department of State, the International Republican Institute, and led projects in England, Bosnia, and Taiwan. He is a Fulbright Specialist, listed among the 100 Most Influential Irish-American Educators, and is a two-time recipient of the Florida Trend’s 500 Most Influential Business Leaders.
Ed currently serves as President Emeritus for the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida, formerly served as a partner for a national consulting firm, President and CEO of the policy research organization James Madison Institute, as well as Florida House of Representatives staff director for Policy.
He received his Ph.D. in public administration and policy from the Florida State University.
